How we Work: A Proper, Well Managed Kitchen Renovation Process

Sorting out your kitchen might seem like a big job — but with the right plan, it doesn’t need to be stressful. At Rushmore, we’ve got a clear, step-by-step approach that keeps everything on track, so you always know what’s happening and why.

It starts with a friendly Discovery Call to chat through your kitchen, what’s not working, and what you’d like to change.

Next comes a site visit — we’ll take measurements, look at layout options, and explain our Project Investment Tiers, so you get early cost clarity before every detail’s decided. If you're in Newcastle or nearby, we're trusted kitchen contractors who know what to look for at this stage.

If you don’t have plans in place yet, that’s fine. Our full Design and Build Service helps shape the layout, flow and finishes before any work begins. We also manage background essentials like structural design, building control, and anything else needed to make the job compliant and safe.

Once you’re ready, we hold a Planning and Design Meeting to lock in your start date, Schedule of Finishes, and a tailored Disruption Minimisation Plan — covering things like working hours, access, and how we’ll protect your home while we work.

During the build, you’ll have a dedicated project manager, regular updates, and site checks to keep everything running smoothly.

When it’s finished, we’ll do a full walkthrough, sort any snagging, and you won’t pay the final 10% until you’re completely happy. After that, we check back in at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months to make sure everything’s still spot on.
